Elk City Karts is now Red Dirt Raceway, LLC. We have a new name and a new location! The track is located on Merritt Road, 3.1 miles South of the Merritt Road Exit off of I-40
Red Dirt Raceway Land Run
This year, racers will be allowed to reserve their spot in the pits for the entire season! Each reserved spot is $50 for the 2009 season. If you do not choose to reserve a spot, open spots will be available at each race for no charge. Contact Rob or Jody to "stake your claim"!

9/23/2009: Due to the economy and lack of interest all remaining races for 2009 are CANCELED.
9/7/2009: Due to lack of participation, the Fall Brawl Payout Series has been CANCELED.
The "Run for the Jacket Series" scheduled for October will take place as updated on the Schedule page. Depending on the weather conditions, hot laps will begin at either 2:00 pm or 6:00 p.m. Hot lap start time will be posted on the website 24 hours in advance.

6/18/2009: ***SCHEDULE CHANGE***
The time for all remaining Saturday races has been changed! We will be running on Saturday EVENINGS instead of Saturday afternoons. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m., hotlaps at 6:00 p.m., and the races will begin at 7:00 p.m. See you there!
5/31/2009: School's out and racing is in high gear! We had a nice turnout this weekend and hope to see all of you back on Saturday, June 13th, for our next race! Hopefully we will have even more racers show up to play in the dirt with us!
5/18/2009: Great opening race day! The races were good, the weather was great, and the drivers had a great time! If you missed us on opening day, be sure to check us out for our next race scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2009. The schedule for the full season is listed on the Schedule page.
5/11/2009: All in all, last weekend's play day went really well. Congratulations to Tommy Smith for christening the track with its first crash!
REMINDER: Opening Race Day is May 16, 2009! The schedule is now posted! Thanks to everyone who has donated their time to help get the track race ready.
Drivers: Keep in mind that your insurance/pit pass paperwork must be filled out before EACH race. You might want to show up a little bit early for the first few races. We will enter the track through the gate on the west side of the concession in order to get your paperwork completed BEFORE entering the pits.
A special thanks goes out to Troy Jones Equipment for providing the equipment used to construct the track. We really appreciate all you do for us!
Please check the 2009 Class Rules for updated weight requirements. Weight requirements have been changed to reflect the recent changes in NWOK rules. These are still under review and subject to change before the first race.
Please read all rules prior to the first race. There have been several changes from prior years and the new rules will be in effect and enforced at the first race. Keep in mind, if it is not specifically stated in the rules that something is legal--IT ISN'T!
