In September, 2024, the Brewer family announced that they had served their time as owners/operators of Red Dirt Raceway and that it was for sale effective immediately. The 2024 season was completed as scheduled and as of December 2024 there was still not a buyer for the track. The Brewer family then decided to do an abbreviated schedule in 2025 but still hitting the tracks marquee events.
Unfortunately just days after the season opening Spring Nationals on March 7th 2025, Red Dirt Raceway LLC was served with a lawsuit against the track in relation to an incident that happened on November 16th, 2024. We(the Brewer family) decided that this lawsuit combined with the fact that we had already decided to step away from the track in September of 2024 was enough of a "gut shot" to our family to cease operations following our March 22nd "Fairgrounds 50" event. We are so very thankful for all the support over the past eight years! So many of you are just like family to us and we hope that we are leaving the Oklahoma racing community in a better place than when we found it!
Note: The Red Dirt Raceway is still for sale and we have high hopes that the right person will purchase the track and take it to new heights!
